Setting Up Shop Website Content Settings
Shop website content settings help you optimize your store webpage to attract more buyers and boost your store’s performance. They also play a cornerstone role in letting your customers know more about you.
Note: You need a premium subscription to modify your shop’s website content settings.
Follow this stepwise guide to configuring your store’s website content settings:
Open the Windo app. On the homepage, tap on Settings on the bottom-right corner.
Scroll down until you see the “Customize Shop Website” section on the settings screen. Then, tap on Shop Content.
You will now see several options available for you to modify.
Let us cover each option step by step.
‘About Shop’ Setting
The ‘About Shop’ option allows you to add a description of your shop. Use this opportunity to add a few creative lines describing your store or business and why it is unique.
Tap on About Shop.
Enter a description of your shop or business.
Tap on Save once you are done.
‘Shop Policies’ Setting
If you have certain policies laid down for your store, you can use this option to communicate them to your customers. It’s possible to add multiple store policies under this setting.
Tap on Shop Policies.
To add a shop policy, tap on Add Policy.
Describe your policy.
Once you are done, tap on Save.
Repeat the process each time you want to add a new policy.
‘Shop Info’ Setting
Under the ‘Shop Info’ setting, you can add vital business information for your shoppers. This includes contact details such as your phone number, email address, etc. You can also incorporate other generic details like order tracking, payments, shipping, and more.
Tap on Shop Info.
You will now see a set of options to change.
Store Information
To add Store Information, tap on Add beside the option.
Enter your business email address under the “Enter Email ID” field.
Enter your business phone number under the “Enter Mobile Number” field.
Enter your store’s address under the “Enter Store Address” field.
Once you are done, tap on Save.
Order Tracking
To enable or disable displaying order tracking information, switch the toggle on or off.
To edit the default order tracking information, tap on the blue pen icon.
Add a title under the “Enter Order Tracking Title” field.
Enter generic details regarding orders under the “Enter Order Tracking Description” field.
Once you are done, tap on Save.
Payments Info
To enable or disable displaying payments information, switch the toggle on or off.
To edit the default payments information, tap on the blue pen icon.
Add a title under the “Enter Payment Title” field.
Enter generic details regarding payments under the “Enter Payment Description” field.
Once you are done, tap on Save.
Shipping Info
To enable or disable displaying shipping information, switch the toggle on or off.
To edit the default shipping information, tap on the blue pen icon.
Add a title under the “Enter Shipping Title” field.
Enter generic details regarding shipping under the “Enter Shipping Description” field.
Once you are done, tap on Save.
You can see a preview of the above-configured options under the Store Preview section.
‘Terms & Conditions (Legal)’ Setting
If you want to lay down all your terms and conditions, this option is the right place to do so.
Tap on Terms & Conditions (Legal).
Describe your terms and conditions.
Once you are done, tap on Save.
‘Privacy Policy (Legal)’ Setting
The ‘Privacy Policy’ option allows you to add your business’ privacy policies. This section touches on how you handle customer data.
Tap on Privacy Policy (Legal).
Describe your business privacy policies.
Once you are done, tap on Save.
‘Store Timings’ Setting
‘Store Timings’ allows you to set a time zone and determine timings to allow orders only during the specified timings.
Store Timezone
To set a time zone, tap on the Select Timezone option.
Select your country to pick your time zone automatically. You may even search for your country from the search bar on the top.
Store Timings
If you are closed on any day of the week, you can switch the toggle option off.
To edit the store hours for each day, tap on the blue pen icon.
To accept orders after the store timings, check the option for each day as per your preference.
